I'm headed home in a few days, bound to be greeted by the smiling faces of my mother, Aamena and Pearson. The new airport is starting to become more familiar to me, and I feel that it is largely under-appreciated. It needs more love. More presence. Et cetera.

Next week also holds the promise of SXSW. I plan on posting a daily blog while in Austin, logging my misadventures. I have a general plan of how I will get to all the shows I want to. Plus, Gracie has agreed to be my partner in crime for the week. There are five people staying in the hotel room I'll be in. I'm sure I'll have stories about this as well.

The weather has been fabulous the past few days. I walked to Wescott, talking to Aamena on the phone and taking pictures of the sunlit street. Sometimes all we need is a little sunlight to make life seem a little brighter.

Next blog will be about Theophilus London, because he is a beautiful man.
