"This song right here, this song is my jam!"

Currently listening to: I Believe In a Thing Called Love by the Darkness

I literally said that about this song probably sixteen times over the course of my freshman and sophomore years of high school (and thought it every single time I heard it). I really, really like this song.

I remember sitting in Alex Kuka's living room playing air bass to this song, insisting that I knew how it went. In truth, I had spent maybe a half of guitar lesson session on it and gave up. Probably abandoned it for a Hellogoodbye song or whatever it was that I listened to two years ago. I remember when it was on the radio during Driver's Ed and hoping that I could convince my mom to buy me a CD player for my car. I remember hitting that high note with the slightest tremor and wanting to be in a band that only sang that song and "Misery Business" (any takers?). I remember when I thought all of these memories made me a more interesting person (about seven minutes ago when I was brainstorming this blog post). I see now that they make me sound kind of lame. At least I'm honest.

I believe in a thing called love. I really do. I mean, listen to the rhythm of my heart. I really, really do.

Oh, and I graduate today! Huzzah!
