I bought a fleece blanket with an eagle on it, a very regal eagle. It was wrapped around me Friday night when I snoozed while two of my friends watched Clue on my bed and photographed a string on Mardi Gras beads.

I'm going to Syracuse, and I'm very excited about it. I hope I'll meet some people that I really like and I don't have to try so hard to impress them. We can mimic the way people in Wes Anderson movies. We'll tell jokes like Woody Allen. We'll wear horned rims and drink black coffee and own way too many clothes. They will not be fickle or fair weather. They will be understanding and they will curse too much. We'll be in love with life, finally. We'll be be forever young.
